Summer Intensives at California Dance Arts

Summer Do you know how you're spending your summer vacation?  California Dance Arts has a suggestion-- come take part in our 2010 Los Angeles International Ballet Intensive!  This three-week program provides new opportunities, growth and development for students passionate about dance.  It's designed to give a comprehensive study of classical and contemporary ballet to students who are willing to have new creative experiences, value discipline and are eager to work with our faculty of internationally renowned guest Instructors. Whether you are in need of extra attention to get to the next level in your training, interested in pursuing a career or enhancing your career, our encouraging faculty and renowned teachers specialize in helping you gain technical improvement and performance artistry.

We also offer a Youth Ballet Intensive, for dancers under the age of twelve, along with the two-week long Dancer's Delight Day Camp and the Fairy Tale Ballet Camp, exclusively for children 3-7 years of age who are not quite ready for a full day of camp.  Each program and intensive culminates into a final performance, giving students a chance to show their progress and even display some of their own choreography.  Regardless of age or skill level, California Dance Arts has a summer program for every dancer!  Summer2

As with all our classes, space in these programs is limited to allow for each child to get the utmost attention.  Check out all the details and faculty information at our website or by clicking HERE.  And remember the auditions for our intensives are coming up fast!  So contact us now to reserve your space in the audition class.

RoseIt's hard to believe that California Contemporary Ballet's annual production of the Snow Queen has come and gone once more.  All four shows were a huge success and very well recieved by audiences and critic alike.  In the final weeks leading up to the performance, while company dancers and students were vigorously rehearsing, we were graced with the presense of reporters and photographers of the Los Angeles Times; Giving the public an inside look at the process behind this magical production.
